Study Tips for Students

by - 11:16

Did you guys have any study problems and you felt give up and want to stop study? You stress because all of your friends are performing but you felt like you have failed. It is okay if you fail. You will learn how to wake up from there. So today, I would like to share some of the tips for all students either school students or university study. It suitable to use it.

1. Relationship with God
The most important things in everything we do, we need to take care of our relationship with our God, which is Allah. He is The Powerful of everything. Always remember that, if we take care of our relationship with Allah, He will take care of us too. Try to make qiamullail as your routine. As starting, we do once a month, then once a week and then we may do every day. Why qiamullail is so important? It is because, in qiamullail time, it is the best time for we to get connected with our God. It is the most mustajab time of our dua. Never ever miss or skip to read Al-Quran every day. At least a page of it. Then, try to practising read any suggestion surah such as Yasin, sajdah, waqiah and al-Mulk.

2. Make some notes and exercises
It is not necessary for us to do our note with a nice book or paper. But, it depends on the individual. If you prefer to write a nice one notes, it's okay. If you prefer to write notes just beside on your textbook also okay. As long as you write it neatly and can identify which one is the important key point and other else. You may use some highlights or colour pen for your notes. It can easier for you to remember and differentiate the main point and side points.  You may write your notes either before the class or after. It depends on yours.

It seems to me, for calculating subject I would list out all of the formulae for each topic. It easier for us to identify which formulae we will use and remember. But, for the reading subject, I prefer to make some notes to list out all of the main and side points. I don't like to read all of the paragraphs directly from the textbook.

Besides, we also need some exercises for practising our skills. Honestly, I did not do every day. So, I would finish all of the exercises and tutorial gave by the lecturer.

3. Relationships with family, teachers and friends
Beside of our relationship with Allah, we also need to take care of our relationship with our family, teachers and friends. Be nice to them. Sometimes, we did not a success because of our effort and dua only. It because of our parents, teachers and friends dua. So if we want them to pray a nice thing to us, we need to be nice to them first. We also have to pray for them too. Always remember that, if we are nice to others, people will be nice to us too.

4. Revision
We must make some revision starting from the beginning. At least read a subtopic of any subject a day. If we have understood from the beginning, it easier for us later. Do not be shy to ask lecturers or friends. You may do some discussion with your friend to increase your understanding. Take a break if you are tired. Take a cup of plenty water or chocolate. Usually, during the study, I will prepare some foods like biscuits or chocolate along. It can prevent us from sleepy. Some people prefer to hear music during the study. It depends on the individual. Based on yours. You also may hear any zikir or Al-Quran recording. It can make you feel peace.

5. Get enough rest and sleep
We must get enough rest and sleep. It is really important for us to always energetic and focuses during class. But, it also not good if we get more sleep. It also can make us feel weak. Get enough sleep can rest our mind for a while after a long day you used it. It not necessary for you to sleep early but just make sure you rest enough.

All of these are some of my opinions and tips. Actually, it depends on the individual. You must know which is the best way for you to study. Do not copy others way. This is mine. So how's yours?
